Community Orgs Host Lexington Candidate Forum on Law Enforcement, Racial Justice, and Accountability

A group of six local community organizations will host a candidate forum on law enforcement, racial justice, and accountability on Tuesday, April 26 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Lyric Theater’s Community Room. The forum will feature candidates in the primary election for Lexington Mayor and Fayette County Attorney. So far, five candidates have confirmed their attendance: Linda Gorton, Adrian Wallace, David Kloiber, Larry S. Roberts, and Angela Evans. The forum will be moderated by Priscilla Johnson, Congressional Black Caucus Liaison for the Kentucky Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials.


The sponsors of the forum are the Lyric Theater & Cultural Arts Center, the Lexington-Fayette Branch of the NAACP, the Alpha Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Building Cultural Bridges, the Central Kentucky Chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, and the Central Kentucky Council for Peace & Justice. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided for those attending in person.
