About the event
We recognize that we are in a medical pandemic at this time that has challenged our public schools to make several changes that affect families.
The Education Committee of the Lexington NAACP Unit #3097 has a long-standing practice of advocating for students in Fayette County Public School (FCPS). We are concerned that many FCPS families are having difficulties accessing information, understanding how it affects their students, and have what they need to ensure that their children are thriving at this time.
We are having a listening session for families to share their concerns and successes with FCPS. FCPS Board Chair Ms. Stephanie Spires and District 2 Board Member Mr. Tyler Murphy will be participating.
We will attempt to answer questions and support you in educating your students during virtual learning and targeted services.
