About the event

Voting Rights Allies,

If we want a Democracy, we’ll have to fight for it.  Now more than ever.  You can do something this Saturday 2pm-5pm ET to help.

We won the right to vote for 170,000 Kentuckians, but the state of Kentucky has not tried to reach out by phone or mail to let people know they can now vote.  You can fix that.

Saturday, we'll be calling 10,000 people with felonies in their past who recently won back the right to vote and we’ll be helping them to register.  We'll use a system called "CallHub" so you can use your phone and computer together to call people. We'll start with a group training to make sure you're comfortable with the script and system and we'll reconvene at the end for 10 minutes to report back. After you're set up with the system, you can do more calls whenever you…
