On Wednesday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m. PST, Amnesty Internaional US will be hosting a conversation with individuals who are doing critical gun violence prevention and intervention in their communities. This event will tell the stories of gun violence interrupters and community violence prevention experts and how we can call on Congress to fund their work!
Gun violence affects so many people in the US, and disproportionately impacts Black and brown communities. There are life-saving programs around the country with the tools to put a stop to this violence, but their funding is at risk. This event is a chance for you and others to learn about both the situation and the solution.
If you would like to attend, you can sign up by filling out this short form. Once you submit it, we will follow up with the Zoom link.
